Coon Rapids, MN — July 1, 2025 – The City of Coon Rapids has announced that the municipal Recycling Center at 1827 111th Avenue NW will be closed all day on Friday, July 4, in recognition of Independence Day.

This closure aligns with the city’s holiday policy, and all regular recycling services will resume on the following day under normal operating hours. Residents are advised to plan accordingly:

  • Recycling drop-off will not be available on July 4.
  • The facility will reopen and resume standard hours beginning Saturday, July 5.
