New Anoka County Jail Project In Limbo After Board Vote

A project to build a new Anoka County Jail is in limbo.

The Anoka County Board Dec. 19 failed to pass a resolution, a six-page document, that would have approved final design, submission of plans to the city of Anoka for approval and preparation of specifications, plus bidding/letting for construction of a new jail in the city.
