Senators tour Golden Valley shelter, consider bonding bill

A cat needing surgery, a stray rabbit looking for a home and a dog with behavioral problems: all these creatures could find themselves at the Animal Humane Society.

Today, the Animal Humane Society has a veterinary clinic in St. Paul in addition to shelters in Golden Valley, Coon Rapids and Woodbury. Its latest project is to create a fifth building in St. Paul.
