Spring Lake Park High School Career Fair Inspires High Schoolers To Engage, Explore

Mosquito control. City parks and recreation. Construction. Therapy animals. Local police and firefighters. Culinary arts. This is just a sampling of the more than 90 vendor booths represented at Spring Lake Park High School’s annual career fair. Each April, that’s always Career & College Pathways Lead Eric Van Brocklin’s goal for this hosted event.

“If you happened to drive by the high school on April 4, you probably noticed all the vehicles and that it was another packed, busy day for our career fair,” Brocklin said. “That’s ultimately what we try to create for students in grades 9-12 each year – an opportunity to explore as many career paths as possible in a high-energy, yet familiar setting.”
