Driver Strikes Pedestrian Who 'Ran Out' Onto Road In Columbia Heights
An Anoka man was seriously injured when he was hit by a driver in Columbia Heights on Wednesday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Nissan Murano was traveling southbound on Highway 65 at around 9:15 p.m. when "a pedestrian ran out" at 46th Avenue Northeast.
The pedestrian, identified as a 44-year-old Anoka man, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to North Memorial Hospital.
The driver of the Nissan, a 68-year-old Minneapolis man, was uninjured in the collision.
