UrgentVet, a national branch of medical care centers for pets will open a new clinic in Coon Rapids, 12475 Riverdale Blvd., Suite L, with the business starting operations on May 16.
The urgent care veterinary medicine offers both primary practices and 24-hour emergency vets, according to a press release from the organization. Open nights, weekends and holidays, the company’s clinics offer pets relief for mild illnesses and minor injuries. The model is akin to walk-in care for humans when their regular doctor isn’t available, and the condition doesn’t warrant an emergency room visit.
