Blaine Council Approves Preschool Addition For East Blaine Mosque And Academy

The Blaine City Council approved a resolution 5-1 after public hearing during the Council’s Aug 19 meeting to grant a Conditional Use Permit for East Blaine Mosque and Academy at 3680 Pheasant Ridge Drive. The amendment adds a Preschool/Daycare, to what is already a K-8 school and place of worship.

According to City Planner Sheila Sellman and Project Engineer Theresa Barnes, the area is surrounded by two business parks, Lexington Ridge and Pheasant Ridge. The site was previously inhabited by the Minnesota School of Business, and the building is currently being remodeled by EBMA.
