In September, the Anoka-Hennepin School Board will have to vote on Phase II of cost cutting measures, and on Aug. 26 Superintendent Cory McIntyre gave a presentation updating the board of the process so far. Only one work session stands between the board and the September vote.
“The reason for why Anoka-Hennepin is considering budget reduction and realignment is due to a convergence, really, of a number of factors coming together at the same time,” McIntyre said. “It’s not one particular thing that’s driving this, but our variety of things all at once.”
