City Of Coon Rapids Meeting On Tuesday, Sept. 3

Here's a look at some of the City Council actions from the Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024 meeting:

• Accepted a CenterPoint Energy community safety grant.
• Adopted a resolution accepting the victim services grant.
• Approved a site plan for an eight-unit apartment project for Family Promise in Anoka County, 340 95th Ave.
• Adopted resolutions ordering preparation of feasibility report and plans for 2025 street reconstruction.
• Introduced an ordinance amending City Code related to waste collection and recycling.
• Adopted a resolution approving plans and specifications and ordering advertisement for bids, 2024 lift Station rehabilitation project.
• Adopted a resolution establishing 2024-2025 Coon Rapids Ice Center rental rates and fee structure.
• Approved 2024-2025 Ice Center user contracts.
• Adopted a resolution establishing the preliminary tax levy for 2025.
