Boys Basketball: Anoka, Totino-Grace muscle Into Section Finals

Top-seeded Anoka held off Andover 73-68 in the Section 7AAAA semifinals at home March 8, advancing to the section championship versus Centennial March 13. The state tournament is March 18-22.

Peyton Podany led the Tornadoes offensively with 26 points, followed by Caleb Sherer with 10, Dominic Bakhit and Dre Ellis with nine apiece, and Afy Ibekwe with six. Alex Kopetzki was the top scorer for the Huskies with 20 points, followed by Colton Miller and Caden Roessler with 13 apiece, Lukas Squier with 11, and Eddie Miles with six.
