Coon Rapids Showcases Northdale–Foley Businesses with New Virtual Tour

COON RAPIDS, Minn. — The City of Coon Rapids is spotlighting local entrepreneurs in a fresh, interactive way. A newly launched Virtual Business Tour highlights more than 20 businesses across the Northdale and Foley commercial districts, giving residents and visitors the chance to explore local shops, services, and dining spots with just a few clicks.

The online tool, available through the city’s website, allows users to browse businesses on a digital map. Each listing includes a description and a “Learn More” link connecting directly to business websites or contact information.

“Our main goal is just to make people aware of the wide range of local businesses that exist in the community,” said Matt Brown, the city’s Economic Development Director.

Local Voices: A Boost for Visibility

For longtime business owners, the project offers a new way to reach customers.

“I think that’s wonderful,” said Jackie Bockwitz, owner of Forever Floral, a neighborhood staple preparing to celebrate 50 years in business. “The more people that know where we are, know where to find us, is great.”

Forever Floral, known for fresh flower arrangements and curated gifts, is among the businesses featured on the tour. Its inclusion underscores how the project not only promotes new enterprises but also honors Coon Rapids’ legacy businesses that continue to anchor the community.
