MINNEAPOLIMEDIA NEWS | Brooklyn Park Business Forum Will Connect Entrepreneurs With International Growth Resources
The October 28 gathering at Edinburgh USA will bring business owners, public officials and trade specialists together for networking and practical assistance.
BROOKLYN PARK, MN (October 22, 2026). Brooklyn Park business owners seeking new customers and expansion opportunities can connect with trade specialists and business assistance organizations at the city’s 15th annual Business Forward Forum on Wednesday, October 28.
The city’s current calendar lists the event from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Its theme, “Global Growth Starts Here,” focuses on helping businesses use local, regional and federal resources to reach new markets.
The forum will take place at Edinburgh USA Clubhouse, 8700 Edinbrook Crossing. Admission is free, with advance registration required, according to event information reported by Mshale.
Featured speakers include Silvia Ontaneda, CEO of Trade Center of Americas, and Chris Peterson, a senior international trade representative with the U.S. Commercial Service in Minneapolis. Local business leaders are also expected to participate in a panel discussion. Lunch will be provided.
The gathering gives entrepreneurs an opportunity to learn which organizations provide assistance before committing time or money to expansion. International growth can require connections beyond a company’s existing customer base, and the forum places business owners in contact with organizations working in that field.
The city describes the annual event as a meeting point for businesses, elected officials and resource partners, combining updates with opportunities to build professional relationships.
The invitation extends beyond businesses already selling internationally. Entrepreneurs interested in available assistance and relationships with other business owners are also part of the intended audience.
Registration information is available through the city’s Business Forward Forum page. Questions can be directed to Josephine Thao at 763-493-8145.
