COON RAPIDS, Minn. — The Anoka County Sheriff's Office is investigating a suspected triple homicide that occurred in Coon Rapids.
Two men and one woman were found deceased in a home on the 200 block of 94th Avenue NW as officers responded to an "open-line" 911 call, according to Tierney Peters, a spokesperson for the sheriff's office.
An open-line call occurs when someone calls 911, but nobody is actively responding on the caller's end. In this case, "sounds of disturbance" were heard on the caller's end, according to Peters.
The call came in at 12:24 p.m., according to Peters, who added the investigation is active and ongoing and no cause of death for the three individuals has been determined yet.
No arrests have been made in the incident at this point, according to the sheriff's office.
