Red Hot Red Knights Girls Hockey Looking To Finish The Regular Season Strong
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls hockey team has been one of the top teams in class AA all year and has been playing well as of late, winning their last seven games in a row.
In those seven consecutive wins, the Red Knights have only given up two total goals.
BSM is 18-3-1 overall and is averaging 4.7 goals a game with six players scoring 17 or more points. 2014 was the last time a Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls hockey team participated in the class AA state tournament.
To break that skid, the Red Knights will need to beat section 6AA for Edina, who has ousted BSM from the postseason in each of the past four seasons. Benilde-St. Margaret’s defeated Edina by a score of 5-2 on the road in the regular season back on December 5th.
