A few hundred Anoka-Hennepin students and community members took to Anoka’s streets on Monday evening, to protest a recent school board member's comments he made in opposition to the district's proposed budget.

The march and subsequent rally happened on April 22, taking place on Monroe Street in Anoka and outside the Sandburg Elementary center before the Anoka-Hennepin School board held its regularly scheduled meeting.
