Robert Downey Jr. was spotted at the downtown Minneapolis Target along Nicollet Mall on Tuesday. But why?
The /Iron Man actor/ was promoting his Happy Coffee brand, according to those who were at the store.
Rob Wedewer posted in West St. Paul Neighbors' Facebook group: "My wife walked with her coworker who needed packing tape, to the downtown Mpls Target and ran into this guy."
Downey spent some time giving autographs and taking photos with shoppers before leaving. Someone even gave him an Iron Man mask to sign.
The Hollywood actor is the co-founder of Happy Coffee, according to its website.
Aside from the Iron Man series, Downey has been in films such as Oppenheimer, The Avengers series, the Sherlock Holmes series, Tropic Thunder, Zodiac, Chaplin, and many others.
He won his first Oscar, for best supporting actor, this year for his performance in Oppenheimer.
Maybe the "Bring Ya A**" tourism campaign by Explore Minnesota is working after all.
