10K’s ‘Babe’s Kitchen’ Brewpub Plan Moves Downtown

After a decision over a restaurant plot on the Rum River stalled back in 2023, 10K Brewing owner Jesse Hauf has taken his “Babe’s Kitchen” brewpub concept and brought it to downtown Anoka. Occupying 10K’s neighboring space on Second Avenue, it plans to bring a unique dining option and experience to the river town.

“The City Council isn’t willing to move on the river space,” Hauf said. “We decided that no matter what, we have to expand the brewery one way or another to keep up with the changing market.”
