Council awards contract for new street maintenance project

The city of Coon Rapids is debuting a new maintenance project to extend the life of its residential streets.

The Coon Rapids City Council June 18 awarded a $306,430.95 contract to Corrective Asphalt Materials LLC, South Roxana, Ill., for the project, which will cover close to 100 street segments in 11 different areas of the city and total 257,504 square yards.
