Consideration by the Coon Rapids City Council of a proposal to rezone property at 107th Avenue and Butternut Street from office to moderate density residential has been postponed to its July 9 meeting.
The council introduced the ordinance at its June 4 meeting, but raised concerns about traffic impacts a proposed 34-unit townhouse development on the 3.8-acre site would have on the neighboring residential area and wanted those addressed before voting on ordinance adoption, which had been set for the June 18 meeting.
