Andover Council Questions Ward Lake Preliminary Plan

The Andover City Council, with Mayor Sheri Bukkila absent, considered a sketch plan previously reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Commission on July 23 of a Planned Unit Development along Ward Lake Drive. While no formal action was taken, the council provided feedback indicating a strong preference for less density.

The sketch plan is currently designated for R-1 Single Family Rural Residential homes. Community Development Director Joe Janish, the area of development has been guided towards Rural Residential in the future in Andover’s Comprehensive Plan.
