Unobligated Federal Funds Will Go To Communications Center Project

Federal American Rescue Plan Act dollars not obligated by the end of this year will be allocated to Anoka County’s Emergency Communications Center project to reduce the amount of bonding needed.

The county received $69.84 million in state and local fiscal recovery funds in 2021 through the federal ARPA program, a COVID-19 stimulus package. It has paid for a variety of projects and programs since then.
