North Metro Law Enforcement Agencies Respond To Gun Shots In Blaine Neighborhood
Blaine police and other law enforcement agencies were called to a house on Davenport Street Tuesday after gun shots were fired.
There were no injuries and police are investigating the incident to find out exactly what happened.
“We had multiple people call in reporting that there were shots being fired, somebody with an impossible long gun involved,” said Blaine Police Chief Brian Podany. “A total of four people were taken into custody.”
According to Podany the suspects came out of the house peacefully. There were also two swat units on the scene.
“When you have something like this we want to do everything we can,” Podany said. “Everyone of us. We’re all still licensed peace officers. We all still try to do everything we can to restore the peace. Usually I’m the office guy. Everyone of us will be out here if we have to.”
