Rep. Ned Carroll (DFL-Plymouth) recently toured the Plymouth city center to highlight a need to enhance infrastructure and more in that area.
A key focus is reimagining Plymouth’s city center, which includes drainage improvements, a fourth ice sheet at the ice center, and a new parking ramp.
“There’s already been transportation improvements around there in terms of roundabouts as well as drainage,” explained Carroll. “It’s making it a more attractive place.”
Carroll is also advocating for funding for Hennepin County Medical Center and North Memorial through a potential renewal of the Twins ballpark tax.
As far as getting back to business in St. Paul, Carroll is confident leaders will find a solution.
“I know the leaders are staying in contact and trying to work out an agreement, and hopefully we’ll be back soon,” said Carroll.
