Capture "Amazing Coon Rapids Animals" in the 2025 Photo Contest

Coon Rapids, MN – Amateur photographers in Coon Rapids are invited to showcase their talent and capture the beauty of local fauna in the 2025 Coon Rapids Photography Contest. This year's theme, "Amazing Coon Rapids Animals," encourages participants to submit their best shots of wildlife, pets, or any animal subject found within the city.

The contest, sponsored by the Coon Rapids Arts Commission, aims to promote local arts events and activities within the community. Submissions are open now and will be accepted until Friday, September 12, 2025.

Photographers will be judged in two distinct age categories:

• Youth: 17 years and under
• Adult: 18 years and older

Cash prizes will be awarded to top entries in both categories:

• First Place: $100
• Second Place: $50

The Coon Rapids Arts Commission, known for its dedication to fostering cultural engagement, is the driving force behind this annual event. It provides a platform for residents to share their unique perspectives of the city.
