COON RAPIDS, MN — The annual Coon Rapids Pet Fair returns on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., marking its 10th anniversary with a brand-new location at the Coon Rapids Civic Center, 11155 Robinson Drive NW. The fair is free to attend and will feature both indoor and outdoor activities designed for pets and their people.
Each year, the Pet Fair draws more than 500 attendees, and organizers expect another strong turnout for this milestone event. Visitors can browse a wide variety of pet-related vendor booths offering products, services, and resources, including information on pet adoption.
The fair’s schedule is packed with family- and pet-friendly activities:
Demonstrations will be held throughout the day under the event’s “Dogs with Jobs” program, including a K-9 demonstration (10:30 a.m.), Police Wellness Dog (11:15 a.m.), Victim Witness Dog (12:00 p.m.), and Can Do Canines (12:45 p.m.). Cake walks are also scheduled at 10:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1:00 p.m.
Food will be available for purchase from the Coon Rapids Cardinal Little League—serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and walking tacos—and from the Egg Roll Queen Food Truck, offering both savory and dessert egg rolls.
Admission is free, and well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome. Organizers note that no vaccinations will be offered at this year’s fair.
City officials describe the Pet Fair as a celebration of the bond between people and their animals, as well as a way to connect residents with local pet-related services and community resources.
