Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office Engages In Community Events, Sheriff Witt Attends Law Enforcement Conferences
The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office had a packed schedule this past week, full of events and community engagement. Sheriff Witt spent time attending the Minnesota Sheriffs’ Association winter conference as well as the National Public Safety Partnership national conference, as reported by the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office. These conferences serve as a platform for discussions on the latest strategies in public safety and law enforcement collaboration.
Back on the home front, the HCSO staff took part in the "Heroes and Helpers" event in collaboration with the Bloomington Police Department and Target. The department's enthusiasm was evident as they awaited to showcase their own version of the event. According to a social media post by Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, the Community Engagement Team also took part in Corcoran's Holiday Toy and Food Drive, a gesture aimed at bringing cheer during the holiday season.
The post, which came out on December 14, included an invitation to the public: "Click on each photo to learn more in Witt’s Weekly Roundup."
