Totino-Grace Wrestling Edged By Coon Rapids
In a back and forth wrestling match that included eleven pins, Coon Rapids edged host Totino-Grace 42-35.
The match was part of a tri-meet with Park Center also in action.
Coon Rapids had back-to-back pins to start the match and had the lead throughout.
Their margin reached 36-17 after a key win by fall for Vache Ebralidze at 160 pounds.
Three straight pins brought the Eagles to within 36-35, with Joe Kruse scoring a fall at 215 pounds to narrow the margin to one before Coon Rapids heavyweight Hayden Skillings got a pin to finish the match.
It was the home opener for Totino-Grace.
The Eagles are ranked seventh in class AA.
