Murder Charges For Teen Accused Of Brooklyn Park Shooting

A Coon Rapids teen has been charged with murder after he allegedly killed a man in Brooklyn Park.

Marquan Tucker, 19, is facing three counts of second-degree murder, as well as a felony dangerous weapons charge.

He’s accused of fatally shooting 23-year-old Ramone Blue on Dec. 7.

According to the criminal complaint, Tucker arrived at the Starlite shopping center in Brooklyn Park in a stolen BMW around 1:40 p.m.

About 20 minutes later, Blue and another victim exited the Trendsetters store off of Brooklyn Boulevard.

A man wearing a medical mask, later identified as Tucker, exited the BMW and fired 16 rounds towards Blue and the victim.

Blue was struck at least twice, and was found lying with a handgun underneath his body. He was transported to the hospital, where he later died.

The other victim was shot in the neck and leg, but has survived his wounds.

Cell phone data confirmed Tucker’s location during the shooting.

Prosecutors say Tucker later ditched the stolen vehicle in Minneapolis.
