The Hennepin County Library says that through the end of Nov. 2024, visitors checked out more than 11.3 million copies of physical and digital items.

As we approach the end of the year, many Minnesotans are looking back at their favorite things this year, including what books they loved most.

Hennepin County Libraries says that through the end of Nov. 2024, visitors checked out more than 11.3 million physical and digital items.

On Monday, the library released its list of the most borrowed books in 2024, led by "The River We Remember" by William Kent Krueger and "The Women" by Kristin Hannah, and children's books, where author "Dog Man" author Dav Pilkey dominated the list.

Here is a list of the most borrowed adult and children's books from Hennepin County Libraries this year:
