Anoka County Board Changes Committee Structure

The Anoka County Board revamped its committee structure for 2025 at its organizational meeting Jan. 7.

Instead of a system that had been in place for decades of having standing committees meet monthly (transportation and management usually twice a month) with three or four board members on each — there were nine standing committees in 2024 with four members on each — the board has switched to five committees of the whole, meaning the seven commissioners will serve on all of them.
