The hosting Bluebirds took the lead halfway through the first period, with a goal from June Semling. Sydney Burnevik and Lily McKenzie assisted.

The Huskies tied it up 1-1 with a goal from Molly Clough in the middle of the first, assisted by Hannah Christenson and Maya Engler.

Julia Gerdes scored early in the second period, assisted by Mackenzie Jones and Courtney Little.

Maya Engler took the lead with a goal early in the third period, assisted by Courtney Little and Hanna Olson.

Taylor Schreifels also made it 4-2 with a goal nine minutes later, assisted by Hanna Olson and Mackenzie Jones.
