Coon Rapids Recycling Center Opens Late Tues/ Wed
*WEATHER NOTICE*
Recycling Center DELAYED OPENING Due to Extreme Cold
Due to the extreme cold, the Coon Rapids Recycling Center will not open until 11 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. This two-hour delay is for the safety of staff and visitors.
Modified Recycling Center Hours
- Tuesday, Feb. 18: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, Feb. 19: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Weather permitting, normal operating hours will resume Thursday, Feb. 20.
About the Recycling Program
The Recycling Division is actively involved in recycling as mandated by the state’s Select Committee on Recycling and Environment (SCORE). This program is unique in that it is city operated, but funded from a State SCORE grant. Our focus is on residential and small business recycling and our programs are set up to help each with every aspect of recycling and waste reduction.
