Police Department To Hire Second Social Worker
A state grant will enable the Coon Rapids Police Department to hire a second social worker/mental health professional.
The Coon Rapids City Council Feb. 4 authorized an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Office of Justice Programs, for a $199,180.80 crisis response grant for the period, March 1 through June 30, 2026.
