Contract awarded for Highway 10 third-lane project in Coon Rapids

A contract was awarded by the Minnesota Department of Transportation March 5 for the Highway 10 third-lane project in Coon Rapids.

C.S. McCrossan Construction, Inc., Maple Grove, was the lowest of six bids in the amount of about $39.66 million for the project to build a third lane in each direction from 700 feet west of Creek Meadow Drive, just east of Hanson Boulevard, to 700 feet east of Round Lake Boulevard. The engineer's estimate was $45.3 million.
