ST. PAUL — The countdown is on for the 2025 Minnesota State Fair, running August 21 through Labor Day, September 1.
This year’s “Great Minnesota Get-Together” will dish up 33 inventive new foods and welcome eight new vendors, offering fairgoers a menu as bold, diverse, and imaginative as ever.

Afro Bean Pops – Deep-fried bites of black-eyed peas blended with jalapeños and cilantro, served with spicy red chili sauce over mixed greens (Vegan, Gluten-Free).
Athena’s Whipped Feta – Creamy feta whipped to perfection, topped with schug and Minnesota wild rice, served alongside seasoned fried pita (Vegetarian).
Bison Meatball Sub – Local Eichten’s Bison and bacon meatballs, smothered in gravy and crispy onions, on a wild-rice hoagie.
Caprese Curds, Chicken-Fried Bacon Fries, Fawaffle (falafel waffle), Deep-Fried Tofuego Bites, Somali Street Fries, Smashadilla, Hot Honey Pizza Ballzz, Pot of Gold Potato Dumplings, Shrimp & Pork Toast on-a-Stick, and the intriguingly named Uncrustaburger also headline the savory category.
