COON RAPIDS, Minn. — The Sanneh Foundation will host its 15th Annual Golf4Goals tournament on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Bunker Hills Golf Club in Coon Rapids, bringing together community leaders, athletes, and supporters for a day of golf with a greater purpose.
The annual fundraiser is one of Sanneh’s signature events, helping to underwrite the nonprofit’s wide-ranging programs that empower youth, improve lives, and unite communities across the Twin Cities. Proceeds benefit initiatives such as Dreamline academic mentoring, free youth sports camps, and community nutrition services that provide food and essential resources to families in need.
The tournament will feature morning and afternoon flights, with tee times set for 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Participants will enjoy a day on Bunker Hills’ award-winning course, followed by an evening program including a community dinner at 7:00 p.m. and a silent auction that closes at 7:30 p.m.
“This event is not just about golf,” organizers noted. “It’s about bringing people together to support programs that change lives, particularly for young people who deserve access to mentorship, education, and opportunity.”
While golf spots are nearly filled, The Sanneh Foundation has continued to issue a “last call” for foursomes in recent days. Sponsorship packages are available for businesses looking to support the cause, and volunteers are being recruited to assist with registration, serve as course ambassadors, and help manage event logistics.
Founded by former Minnesota Thunder and U.S. Men’s National Team soccer player Tony Sanneh, the foundation has become a leading force in community outreach across Minnesota. Its programs reach thousands of students and families each year, focusing on academic achievement, youth development through sports, and addressing food insecurity.
The Golf4Goals tournament has become a cornerstone fundraiser in sustaining this work. Past events have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to expand programming and provide critical services in schools and neighborhoods where they are needed most.
