ANOKA, Minn. — Anoka-Hennepin Schools has announced a districtwide partnership with GoFan, a leading digital ticketing platform, to bring mobile ticketing to all athletic events at its five traditional high schools: Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Champlin Park, and Coon Rapids. The move is designed to modernize the fan experience, streamline game-day operations, and align with broader trends in high school athletics across Minnesota.
Beginning this school year, spectators will no longer need cash at the gate. Instead, tickets can be purchased and accessed directly from smartphones through the GoFan app or each school’s dedicated GoFan page. The district expects the shift to reduce wait times, improve event security, and provide a consistent ticketing system for families and fans.
For school administrators, the benefits extend beyond the gate. GoFan provides real-time data on ticket sales, simplified financial reconciliation, and enhanced security by eliminating the risks associated with handling cash.
To ease the transition, the district has introduced a multi-event Punch Pass option in GoFan, available in five- and ten-event bundles. Passes can be used across schools and sports, offering frequent attendees greater flexibility.
Individual school GoFan pages are already live, with listings for upcoming games at Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Champlin Park, and Coon Rapids.
The adoption of mobile ticketing mirrors a wider movement in high school sports. The Minnesota State High School League already uses online-only ticketing for postseason tournaments, and more districts are shifting to digital platforms to streamline operations and improve the fan experience.
By moving to GoFan, Anoka-Hennepin positions itself at the forefront of this transition—ensuring that athletic events are more convenient, efficient, and secure for students, families, and community members alike.
