2025 Construction Season Underway Across Coon Rapids

COON RAPIDS, Minn. — The City of Coon Rapids has launched its 2025 construction season, with projects ranging from neighborhood street reconstruction to sewer improvements, trail expansions, and regional roadway upgrades.

The annual construction program is designed to maintain and improve city infrastructure while supporting growth and safety across neighborhoods. This year’s work includes street reconstruction in several residential areas, sewer lining along major boulevards, and the construction of a new pedestrian bridge along the Coon Creek Regional Trail.

In addition, Anoka County and the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) are moving forward with separate projects that impact Coon Rapids, including resurfacing work, traffic signal upgrades, and the ongoing expansion of U.S. Highway 10.
