Coon Rapids, MN – Local organizations and non-profits that provide extracurricular activities for youth are invited to participate in the annual Rocky’s Pumpkin Patch, a free community festival designed to connect youth-serving groups with families. The event, organized by the Coon Rapids Community Strength Foundation with support from the City of Coon Rapids, will take place Saturday, October 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sand Creek Park, 1008 Northdale Boulevard.
Attendees can enjoy a wide range of activities, including bounce houses, an inflatable obstacle course, bingo, musical chairs, face painting, and a photo booth. Children in costume can compete for prizes, and each child will receive one free pumpkin while supplies last. Concessions will be available for purchase from the North Star Lions Club.
Organizations interested in participating are encouraged to decorate a booth and provide candy, games, or other giveaways. This offers a unique opportunity to reach thousands of trick-or-treaters and families who may be interested in joining clubs, activities, or teams. Groups that are welcome include those focused on youth athletics, music, performing and visual arts, character development, STEM/STEAM programs, leadership skills, volunteer opportunities, or youth ministry.
The booth fee is $50, and the registration deadline is Sunday, October 12. Interested organizations can sign up for a booth here: https://pci.jotform.com/form/251904299570161
