COON RAPIDS, Minn. — The City of Coon Rapids is inviting local residents to join the team at the Coon Rapids Ice Center (CRIC), with several seasonal, part-time recreation work positions now open.
According to the City of Coon Rapids’ official job posting, the Ice Center is seeking dependable and enthusiastic individuals to help support its busy winter season. The positions involve working approximately 8 to 15 hours per week, including weekend shifts, and play a key role in maintaining the center’s welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere.

Located at 11000 Crooked Lake Boulevard NW, the Coon Rapids Ice Center is a year-round facility that features indoor and refrigerated outdoor ice rinks, skate rental and sharpening services, meeting rooms, and space for community events. The center regularly hosts youth hockey, figure skating programs, public skate sessions, and private rentals.
The seasonal positions offer a starting pay range of $13.00 to $14.00 per hour, with 2–3 openings currently available. Weekend and evening availability is preferred to accommodate the Ice Center’s busy schedule.
