As America commemorates 250 years of independence, MinneapoliMedia invites you to pause and reflect on this extraordinary milestone in our nation's history.
For 250 years, America has been shaped not only by presidents, elected officials, military leaders, and historical events, but also by the voices of ordinary people whose hopes, sacrifices, dreams, and determination have defined our nation's story.
Today, we invite you to add your voice to that story.
America's Voices
What does this anniversary mean to you personally? As you reflect on America's journey over the past 250 years, what are your hopes and aspirations for our nation's next 250 years?
There is no right or wrong answer.
Whether your response is deeply personal, patriotic, reflective, hopeful, challenging, or inspirational, we simply invite you to share what is on your heart as America marks this once-in-a-generation milestone.

Submissions may be edited only for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and length. The meaning, intent, and spirit of every submission will always be preserved.
If publication permission is not clearly indicated, your submission will be preserved but will not be considered for publication until written permission is received.
A Special Thank You
As a token of appreciation, three participants will be selected in the coming weeks to receive a commemorative America 250 prize.
Selected reflections may also be featured in future editions of MinneapoliMedia's America 250: America's Voices throughout this historic anniversary year.

Submission Deadline
Submissions will be accepted through July 31, 2026.
Prize recipients and featured voices will be announced in the weeks following the close of submissions.
