MINNEAPOLIMEDIA SPORTS | Lynx Defeat Indiana 108-100 for 10th Consecutive Victory

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (August 3, 2026). Olivia Miles scored 28 points and Courtney Williams added 27 as the Minnesota Lynx held off the Indiana Fever 108-100 Sunday at Target Center for their 10th consecutive victory.

The winning streak is Minnesota’s longest since 2016 and improved the Lynx’s record to a WNBA-best 25-6.

Minnesota led 96-82 with 6:41 remaining before Indiana mounted a late comeback. The Fever cut the deficit to 100-98 with more than two minutes remaining.

Miles and Williams answered with crucial baskets that helped Minnesota regain control and close out the victory.

Napheesa Collier finished with 18 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Natasha Howard added 13 points, and Kayla McBride scored 10.

Indiana guard Kelsey Mitchell led all scorers with 37 points. Caitlin Clark recorded 19 points and 10 assists, while Aliyah Boston contributed 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

Both teams shot 57 percent from the field and made 11 three-pointers. They also finished 11 of 15 from the free-throw line and combined for 55 assists.

Minnesota separated itself through possession and transition play. The Lynx committed only six turnovers compared with Indiana’s 12, held an 11-5 advantage in offensive rebounds and outscored the Fever 9-0 on fast-break points.

The teams produced one of the season’s fastest offensive starts. Minnesota led 36-32 after the opening quarter, tying the WNBA record for the most combined points in a first quarter.

Miles scored 14 points during the second quarter, helping the Lynx build a 64-53 halftime advantage.

Indiana entered the game with a five-game winning streak and had scored at least 100 points in six consecutive games, a league record. The Fever fell to 19-11.

The announced attendance was 16,505.

Minnesota will remain home to face the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday. Indiana returns home to play the Las Vegas Aces the same night.
