MINNEAPOLIS, MN (August 24, 2026) Minneapolis police officers arrested two women early Sunday morning following an altercation that left a security worker stabbed outside an after-hours venue in North Minneapolis.

Officers responded to reports of a violent assault in the 3200 block of 2nd Street North at approximately 4:07 a.m. on Sunday, August 23. Upon arrival, first responders located an adult male security guard suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds. Emergency medical service personnel provided treatment at the scene before transporting the victim to a local hospital, where he is expected to survive.

Preliminary investigative findings indicate the confrontation began when the security employee denied entry to two women in their 20s. Police report that the individuals assaulted the worker, during which one of the women produced a sharp object and stabbed him. Responding officers located and apprehended both women near the scene on assault charges. Formal charging documents detailing specific counts were pending review by the Hennepin County Attorney's Office.

The investigation remains active under the Minneapolis Police Department. Further public information updates regarding court appearances and identity releases are available via the Minneapolis Police Department Public Information Center.
