MINNEAPOLIMEDIA NEWS | Anoka County Announces September 2 Hiring Event With Jobs Paying Up to $41 an Hour

BLAINE, MN (August 24, 2026) Job seekers will have an opportunity to meet employers recruiting for positions paying as much as $41 an hour during an upcoming Anoka County hiring event in Blaine.

The Anoka County Job Training Center will hold the event from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, at the Anoka County Human Services Center, 1201 89th Avenue NE, Rooms 2402 and 2403.

Participating employers represent transportation, manufacturing, health care, education, residential services and human-services industries.

Employers expected to attend include:

• About U and Alpine Home Health, advertising wages from $17 to $26 an hour
• ACR Homes, $16 to $27.75 an hour
• Aerotek, $20 to $33 an hour
• Beacon Specialized Living, $18.50 to $20 an hour
• Bimbo Bakeries, $20 to $25.50 an hour
• Kottke’s Bus Service, $16.50 to $29 an hour
• Lightbridge Academy, $18 to $22 an hour
• Metropolitan Transportation Network, $28 to $35 an hour
• Minnesota Department of Transportation, $23.16 to $34.69 an hour
• Opportunity Partners, $16 to $26 an hour
• Pediatric Home Service, with registered nurse and licensed practical nurse positions paying $25 to $41 an hour
• Vision Companies, $18 to $30 an hour
• Northstar Behavioral Health, with wage information available from its representative

Lightbridge Academy’s Champlin and Ramsey locations will also participate in an Employer of the Day session from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m., immediately before the larger hiring event.
