According to investigators, Myers traveled to Minneapolis on Friday, August 21, and was last seen in the company of a friend on Saturday, August 22. She did not return to her relative's home, and her friend reported not knowing her current whereabouts. Law enforcement officials confirmed that Myers' cellular phone has been turned off, with its last known tower location ping recorded in the 2000 block of Irving Avenue North in Minneapolis.

Myers is described as Black, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with black hair and black eyes. Detectives are treating her disappearance as an active missing person case and are appealing to residents in both Brooklyn Park and Minneapolis for any leads.
