Council Approves Two-Year Contract With Firefighters

A two-year contract with its career firefighters has been agreed by the city of Coon Rapids.

The Coon Rapids City Council Jan. 2 approved a negotiated labor agreement covering 2024 and 2025 with the International Association of Firefighters Union, representing the firefighters’ bargaining unit, which ratified the contract Dec. 15, 2023.
