Anoka County Awarded Parks Equity Grant By Met Council

Anoka County has received a parks equity grant from the Metropolitan Council to provide adaptive equipment in its eight regional parks for people with disabilities.

The county was awarded $131,500, one of 22 projects earmarked for funding from a $2 million Metropolitan Council pot available to regional park agencies in the seven-county metro area.
