TRAFFIC UPDATE: Andover road closure

In the city Andover, Crosstown Boulevard from the railroad tracks to Prairie Road northwest will be closed to construct sanitary sewer and water main starting on Wednesday, Aug. 28 through late September, the city posted on its Facebook page on Aug. 21.

The original plan of this project did not include a full road closure, the post states As contractors began to prepare for this project, it was determined due to the high volume of traffic and the width of the roadway that this section of road needed to be closed for the safety of those working on this project.
