Coon Rapids Police Department Has A Wellness Dog

Coon Rapids Police Department’s newest officer was unveiled at the Oct. 1 Coon Rapids City Council meeting — a wellness dog.

Gizmo, a black labrador who turns three in November, was donated to the department by Can Do Canines, a New Hope-based organization that trains assistance dogs. He started with the police department Aug. 19.
