Deputies responded to a personal injury crash involving two vehicles in the 14200 block of Round Lake Blvd. NW. Upon arrival, officers noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from one of the drivers. The individual soon became combative and fell over, prompting concerns for their safety. Due to the driver’s uncooperative behavior, field sobriety tests were not conducted. After attending to the injured parties involved in the crash, law enforcement obtained a warrant for a blood test. The driver was subsequently arrested and charged with third-degree DWI pending toxicology results.
